This card was created from a Byzantine-style icon in which Cyril and Methodius originally appeared together; this is the Methodius half of that paired icon, showing him as a hierarch holding the Gospel. The prayer on the back is a standard Orthodox hierarchal troparion—fully appropriate for the Saint.
