Orthodox Gifts & Crafts is a small, family-run Orthodox Christian workshop in Ohio dedicated entirely to fully embroidered iconography. Every icon we offer—whether found on our website, Etsy, E‑Bay, or Amazon Handmade—is stitched in-house using industrial multi‑needle embroidery equipment. Nothing is printed, outsourced, or mass‑produced. Each piece is built completely from thread.
Our catalog is one of the largest collections of embroidered Orthodox icons available online, and we continue to expand it with new saints, feasts, and traditional variations.
My name is Luke, and this workshop began in the simplest way possible: making wood‑burned and printed icons for our little Orthodox mission. I wanted to help beautify our worship and make sacred images more accessible to the faithful.
Everything changed when I discovered embroidered liturgical art.
The depth, texture, and reverence of embroidery captured me immediately—but I also realized how rare it had become. Traditional Church embroidery has sharply declined, and much of this beautiful art is disappearing. Once I saw that, I knew I wanted to help preserve it in whatever small way I could.
That desire grew into what Orthodox Gifts & Crafts is today.
How We Work
Every icon is embroidered, cut, trimmed, and finished in our Ohio workshop. We produce multiple sizes—from small pocket icons to framed wall pieces—and we're continually adding new saints and designs.

This is truly a family workshop: my wife assists with finishing, packaging, and framing, and our children help prepare materials and organize stock.
