About Saint Luke
Saint Luke of Crimea (1877-1961) was Valentin Voino-Yasenetsky, a surgeon whose textbook on purulent surgery is still cited, who served as archbishop and continued operating through imprisonment and exile.
I bought the pocket icon of Saint Luke for a friend of mine who was baptized this past Holy Saturday. It was an absolute hit. The quality was immaculate and arrived in perfect condition.
