About Daniel of Pereslavl
Saint Daniel of Pereslavl (1460-1540) was a Russian monastic who founded the Holy Trinity monastery at Pereslavl-Zalessky. He was known for burying the abandoned dead at his own expense and praying for those who died without name or family.
