Collection: Saint Theodosius of the Caves

Saint Theodosius of the Caves was a 11th-century monk and co-founder of the Kiev Caves Lavra, one of the most important monasteries in the Orthodox world. Known as the father of coenobitic monasticism in Kievan Rus, he established the communal rule that guided generations of monks. This collection features handcrafted embroidered Orthodox icons of Saint Theodosius of the Caves, made using traditional Byzantine techniques in our Ohio workshop.
