Saint Stefan Milutin

Saint Stefan Milutin, King of Serbia (1282–1321), was a devout ruler known for his piety, church-building, and charitable works. He founded numerous monasteries and churches throughout the Balkans, including the Banjska Monastery and the Gračanica Monastery in Kosovo — a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. Venerated as a saint in the Serbian Orthodox Church, his relics are preserved at the Church of Saint King Milutin in Sofia, Bulgaria.
