Collection: Saint Romylos of Vidin

Saint Romylos of Vidin (c. 1300–1375) was a Bulgarian Orthodox monk and hesychast, a disciple of Saint Gregory of Sinai. He lived as an ascetic in the wilderness of Bulgaria and later on Mount Athos, devoted to the practice of inner prayer and stillness. Venerated as a holy monk and confessor, he is commemorated on January 16. Our handcrafted collection honors his memory through Byzantine devotional items, each made in our Ohio workshop using traditional techniques.
