Saint Panteleimon the Great Martyr

Saint Panteleimon the Great Martyr (d. 305) was a physician and martyr of Nicomedia, beloved throughout the Orthodox world as a healer and wonderworker. Born to a pagan father and Christian mother, he was baptized and devoted his medical gifts to healing the sick freely in the name of Christ. He was martyred under Emperor Maximian and is venerated as one of the Holy Unmercenary Healers. His feast day is celebrated on July 27. Our handcrafted collection honors his memory through Byzantine embroidered icons and devotional items, each made in our Ohio workshop using traditional techniques.
