Collection: Saint Ilya Muromets

Saint Ilya Muromets is one of the most beloved figures in Russian Orthodox tradition — a legendary warrior hero of Kievan Rus who, according to tradition, became a monk at the Kiev Caves Monastery in his later years. His relics are venerated in the Kiev Caves Lavra to this day. This collection features handcrafted embroidered Orthodox icons of Saint Ilya Muromets, made using traditional Byzantine techniques in our Ohio workshop.
