Righteous Ruth

The Righteous Ruth is one of the most beloved figures of the Old Testament, venerated in the Orthodox Church as a forebear of Christ and a model of faithfulness, loyalty, and love. A Moabite woman who chose to follow her mother-in-law Naomi and embrace the God of Israel, her story is read at Vespers during Holy Week. She is commemorated among the Righteous Forebears of Christ. Our handcrafted collection honors her memory through Byzantine devotional items, each made in our Ohio workshop using traditional techniques.
