Holy Prophet Moses

The Holy Prophet Moses is one of the greatest figures of the Old Testament — the lawgiver who led the Israelites out of Egypt, received the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai, and spoke with God face to face. In Orthodox iconography, Moses is depicted holding the tablets of the Law, and his fiery ascent is celebrated as a foreshadowing of Christ's resurrection. This collection features handcrafted embroidered Orthodox icons of the Holy Prophet Moses, made using traditional Byzantine techniques in our Ohio workshop.
