Archangel Raphael

Archangel Raphael is one of the seven holy Archangels who stand before the throne of God, known as the divine healer and guide of travelers. His name means "God heals," and he is celebrated in the Book of Tobit as the heavenly companion who restored sight and brought healing. Venerated throughout the Orthodox Church, he is a powerful intercessor for the sick and those in need of God’s mercy. His feast day is celebrated on November 8 together with the Synaxis of the Holy Archangels. Our handcrafted collection honors him through Byzantine embroidered icons and devotional items, each made in our Ohio workshop using traditional techniques.
