He was awarded the Stalin Prize for his medical research on purulent infections even while under persecution — a testament to his extraordinary gifts.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSaint Luke is venerated as a great healer and wonderworker, and his relics continue to work miracles to this day. He was glorified as a saint by the Russian Orthodox Church in 1996. His feast day is June 11.
