He was especially devoted to the Mother of God and to the spiritual renewal of his flock. Despite his frail health, he never spared himself in the service of the Church.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSaint Joasaph reposed on December 10, 1754, and his relics were found incorrupt when his tomb was opened in 1911. He was glorified as a saint by the Russian Orthodox Church in 1911, and his relics became a source of numerous miracles. His feast day is December 10.
